I forgot my password

Seriously, forgetting your password is the most. annoying. thing. ever. I couldn't remember my password to this blogger account. So, I tried everything I could imagine. Every. thing. No dice. After multiple attempts, I decided to take radical action and do the "password recovery". Unfortunately, the email account they sent the information to recover my password no longer existed. duh. So, I tried to complete the form on gmail that verified who I am and that I own this account. Google told me "sorry. we cannot confirm that you own this account". Wow. I'm so secure even I can't get in. Finally, I made a list of every password I've ever used... and one by one, tried them all. Yep. All of them. All million and a half of them. And whooo hoo! I hit one and it worked. But, I can't remember exactly which one it is. So, I circled two of them (I think it's one of them). I had a lot to say on my blog until I couldn't remember my password. Th

Happy Valentine's Day

Friday night, my Valentine and I went out to dinner at a great Italian restaurant.  They have the best homemade fettuccini.  He had the pork proscuitto. We also went to see, of course, Valentine's Day.  Saturday, we went to church... and listened to Pastor John talk about sex. In church!!?? Then, out to eat at Carlos O Kellys... I had the margarita chicken... he had the steak and enchilada... Lindsey and I made these... No you aren't dreaming... chocolate filled chocolate topped chocolate cupcakes.  It doesn't get any chocolatier. The girls made these... Em came home from school with these... I gave the girls some little gifts... Abz put hers on ... Em tried her chocolate... and realized one of them was "bubble gum flavored" filling... I love my valentine... and he loves me...

Haleigh is 23 today. This picture is me and her 22.5 years ago when she was a little over 6 months old. I was a baby... only 21 years old when this picture was taken. It's crazy to think that this tiny little girl has grown up into a beautiful young woman of God. At this age, she was bouncing and moving to her dad's guitar playing. Now, she sings on stage beautifully. The past 23 years have gone by so quickly. The toddler years... the adolescent years... the pre-teen years... the teenage years...junior high... high school... college... and now, a working woman on her own building a life and a future. It makes me quite emotional to think of how God has blessed her in her life in this world thus far. Happy birthday Haleigh. Have fun tonight at your favorite steak house... have fun with your friends celebrating life in your 20's. I love you. You are beautiful. Love, Mom P.S. I didn't send your gift yet. Thought it would be appropriate to let you down easy...

The birthday months...

February begins the birthday months for us. Shawn kicks it off on the 5th of February, my sister on Feb. 6... then Haleigh on the 12th.... then the 24th is Em's... March 3 is Lindsey's , Shawn's sister Shera on the 14th of March, Shawn's mom on April 7, Abbie on April 24, Shawn's brother on May 16, and I end up the six month stretch on June 1. So, basically, every week, I am either buying a gift or a card or planning a party or something crazy like that. We have special meals and visits and all kinds of crazy things going on. Last weekend, I surpised Shawn for his big day on a trip out of town and to a Comedy Club. We dined some pretty fine dining at Red Robin, and went shopping at the mall. Okay okay... the mall was for me more than him, but he did get some new shoes. I'm sort of sacrifical.... then we came home and ate confetti cake (his choice) decorated by Abbie in memory of Mel Blanc (some sort of inside joke between Abbie and her dad that I have yet
