spring

It's spring. And we have a few fun things going on.



First, we decided to plant a vegetable garden. I took a picture to prove it. It isn't that impressive because it has only been tilled.... and it has some potatoes in there somewhere... but that's it for now.



Please note the adorable little yellow pup in the picture. Her name is Mae and she belongs to the neighbors. Since my husband won't let me have a dog yet, I've adopted her as my friend. :)



























And, I would also like to share with you another photo I took. No, it is not the wonderful landscape of the midwest united states wildflowers..... it is our back yard. And yes, those lovely beautiful yellow flowers are dandelions.

aww that puppy is CUTE. Looks like its going to be a great garden. sucks living on a hill... we cant have one and i miss it!!!

You know, though they may be weeds, they really are lovely. I wonder why they got labeled weeds in the first place?

I can't even imagine having all that space... makes me want to ditch suburbia and be your neighbor! how much fun would that be?

Quick! Call an Ambulance!

I went on a bike ride with my 9 year old yesterday. Okay... I will wait a minute while you gain your composure. You don't have to be so loud about it. I had been promising her that we would go on a bike ride together for a few days. Why didn't I promise her a trip to Starbucks for a nice hot latte? So, we ditched a few responsibilities and went on a bike ride. But, I didn't have a bike. So, I was going to walk. She said I could borrow Abbie's bike. Except Abbie has the bike seat from the land down under - you know what I mean. And my rear was not meant to sit on that tiny thing. But, I rode it anyway. After we crossed the street, we started heading down the road and it was pretty nice for a couple minutes. Luckily, my dad lives 2 blocks away, so we had to stop there to say hi and to tell him that we are on a bike ride. Then, we headed back on our bike ride. We left my dad's and there is a slight hill.
