signs of spring

His Girl talked about spring today in her blog!
I love her photos of Spring.

Unfortuntaly, that isn't how it is in the midwest.

Spring usually starts like this.... the ice and snow turn to slush.

So, uh.... welcome spring?

Don't forget the mud. SO MUCH MUD!
so, so true. We don't look for trees budding...we're looking at how much smaller the snow mounds seem :)
...sigh...but the sun was out this morning and I am hopeful!

Joe made huge ruts in our driveway last night and this morning, and that was just in the slush, we aren't even down to the MUD yet...I wonder if we could just skip the mud this year? But, hey the sun is shining and the birds are singing---come on spring!!

That's one really fabulous thing about living here, it's not real warm yet, but it sure is sunny! I love the sunshine!

Yes!! That's spring around here. We have 3 foot piles of dirty snow hanging around (But not the slush underfoot). So the jonquils will be peaking their little heads out of the snow piles. Welcome Spring!! The birds are here at least!!

I like this design...especially the sink photo at the top...maybe you'd be happy with just a little more "purple-ish" in the color??? It might cheer you up.
