thinking...

We went to visit our daughter this weekend.  On Sunday, the pastor talked about how we are called to be "different".  He made a pretty good statement that often times, we come to Christ and the only thing that separates us from the unsaved is our church attendance.  Then, posed a question that I've been chewing on for days now...

Removing church attendance from the equation entirely in your life, how is your life different than the unsaved?

Dang- i just posted this huge comment that probably had no insight whatsoever- and lost it. Oh well. But my point was and is- I have been thinkin the same thing. How do I get past my little inward world of Christianity of rules, titles, and actually bondage rather than freedom in Christ? Since this whole thing I haven't wanted to walk away from Christ- but from religion that holds me back. Cause how is my life truly different? Why should I convince people to join my club- if that's all it is- not alive, and real, and moving in the King of Kings? It's not worth selling out to. Yah- well that's way too much info let out of my strange box.

We covered this in inste this week, too - I just love the possibilities. Sad that they are "possible" and not quite real all the time. Chewing with you...
